Kaleidoscope Event’s interpretation of “Doing Some Good” is Integration.

 

The Dream Big Project promotes the notion that children can be anything as long as they have a dream and the children at APSN Katong deserved it more than anything in the world. The event serves to prove that children no matter the circumstances are all special in their own ways. It opens new doors and opportunities for them to figure out that they can achieve in their own little ways back to society. 28th July 2016 marked the birth of The Dream Big Project. The journey has been very enriching, from the initial brainstorming stage to planning and now execution.

 

All this would not have been possible without the tremendous support of the sponsors, lecturers and the team of Dreamers. The sponsors and the school are also in talks to create new opportunities for the kids and providing new ways the children can integrate into the working world in future. Kids with autism tend to be sheltered in homes as most jobs out there have the attitude that you "fit in or you're out". Hence, this project creates a platform for the school and industry partners to create new opportunities for the children by making jobs that fit them. For that, The Dream Big Project created more than what the team initially set out to do, Kaleidoscope Events created an everlasting chain of dreams that will just be potentially bigger in the days to come.
